We do not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide personal information to read PCMWiki.

The only data we collect comes from a single third-party analytics service (Baidu Tongji, used for traffic statistics on this site) and from the standard log files maintained by our hosting provider. Baidu Tongji uses cookies and similar technologies to record anonymized usage patterns — for example, which pages are visited and which language is preferred. Our hosting provider may record IP addresses, user agents, and timestamps in standard server logs, retained only as long as needed for security and debugging.

We use the analytics data to understand which entries are most read, in which language, so that we can prioritize future translation and editing work. We do not use the data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or postal addresses. We do not collect health information, even indirectly. We do not run any third-party advertising networks, and we do not embed social-media tracking pixels. The site contains no forms that ask you to identify yourself.

The only cookies set by PCMWiki itself are first-party cookies placed by Baidu Tongji for the analytics purposes described above. You can refuse these cookies through your browser settings; the site will continue to function normally if you do. We do not use local storage for tracking.

PCMWiki is a general-audience cultural reference site. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we do not direct any content or marketing at children.

You may request a copy of any data associated with your visits, ask us to delete it, or ask questions about our practices by contacting us through the address listed below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page and post a notice on the homepage. Continued use of PCMWiki after a change indicates that you accept the updated policy.
